If,duringanongoingcall,asecondcallcomesinforyou,thesecondcallissignaledwhen»Callwait.protect.

on« is set. A caller will hear the busy signal, when you have set your telephone to »Call waiting off«.

Awaiting call isindicated byabrief acoustic signal in thespeakerand alsodisplayed. You canset thevolu

meofthecallwaitingsignalandselectwhetherawaitingcallistobesignaledonlyonetime,orseveraltimes

(see page 61).

Whenthefunction»Silentsignalling«isactivated, callsignallingiscarried out asdescribedforthisfeature.

If you are usingthe hands-free optionfor anactive connection,waiting calls willonly be signaled optically

in the display.

The following entries are possible for the call waiting feature:

redcallwaitingtype.Thecheckmarknexttoa

softkey indicates which setting is currently

activated for selection in the first line. When

there are various settings possible, first select

the variant frm the first line and then the

function from the lower lines. Repeat these

steps until all variants are set.

s No:

Withan ongoingconnectionor whileaconnection isbeingestablished,

no further calls will be signaled.

line Call waiting from only one subscriber is possible when:\line Only

one or two active connectionsand no call waitingconnection is present

at your phone.

s OK, extended:

Up to 4 simultaneous connections are possible on your telephone.

For example, twofurther callscan alsobe signaledby callwaiting while

two other calls are already in progress.
