Call switching

When a call is transferred, the active subscriber and the subscriber for the connection previously put on

hold are always connected with one another.

Youcaninitiateaninquiriycallyourself(e.g.inordertoannouncethecall)andcanthentransferthecall.

Pleasenote thatthe feature (ECT- Explicit Call Transfer) must be supported bythePABX sys

tem when transferring two(2) externalcalls, or, when youuse your phone directly onthe net

work termination unit, by your network service provider.

Broker’s call

If you have more than one connection active at your telephone (call waiting or inquiriy call) (max. of four

connections),you cantalkto thesepartiesalternately (Broker’scall). For this,there areupto foursoftkeys

available, dependingon the numberof connections on hold (»conn1«,. . . »conn4«). If the number or

thename of the otherpartyis known,theassociated name ornumber is shownin thedisplay insteadofthe

text »Connection«.

IfyouhaveconfiguredextensionandlinekeysyoucanalsocarryoutBroker’scallsbetweendifferentcallers

using these keys.

To terminate an active connection, press the disconnect key. You are then returned to the call that was

previously put on hold.

You have the option of configuringup tofour »Connectionkeys« in addition to thesoftkeys for thesystem

telephone or theadditional keypad.In connection with theassociated LEDs, this keysshow the communi

cation status (no connection, ongoing connection, call status).

Three-party conference

Ifyou havean activeconnection anda connectionon holdat yoursystem telephone,you can initiatea con

ference call with these two subscribers. All three subscribers can speak to one another.

Conference calls are not possible with more than two (2) connections at your phone.
