Telephone BIOS

pletely (e. g. if the PC crashed while loading the firmware).
The following functions are available in the telephone’s BIOS
•
Allphonecalls are signaled. Nonumber(MSN)hasbeenenteredinthe telephone.
•
Dialing of outgoing calls ispossible afterlifting thehandset (nocall preparation,no openlistening
orhands-freecalling).
•
Loadingnewfirmwarevia thephone’s PCport or viathe ISDNconnection.

youmaymake ormodify inthismenuwill affecttheoverall functionalityof yourtelephone. In
some cases the telephone may not be able to be used if these settings are changed.
Country
Country-specific settings
Certain specific parameters needto beset if the telephone is to beused in a countryother thanthe country
configured as default.
This includes for example setting the language, the currency and certain default specific parameters for a
country’s ISDN network.
Checkasdescribedbelowwhetheryou needtosetcountry-specific parametersforthe countryinwhichthe
telephone is to be used.
